The simple garter sweater is a classic garter stitch / knit stitch sweater. It is slightly cropped in length and has loose arms which make it super comfy.
This easy knitting pattern is suitable for beginners, or if you're more advanced but fancy a nice and easy project. You need to know basic skills such as casting on, binding off, simple seaming skills, knit stitch, purl stitch, knit 2 together.

You will need:
- approx. 650m - 1350m chunky / size 6 yarn (depending on size you make, details are included)
- 8mm straight knitting needles / size needed to obtain gauge (or you can work back and forth on circular needles)
- yarn needle
- scissors
- measuring tape
